  • Shoreline at Kennack II. Acrylic on canvas impasto painting for sale with jonathanpitts.com by Jonathan Pitts artist. These paintings are calm and relaxing, they are about feeling calm and looking out across the blue ocean to try to see the distant headlands. Although they are marine paintings, they are as much paintings of the sky as they are a paintings of the sea.

I am excited to announce that a new collection of acrylic on canvas paintings of Cornwall are heading for Cotswold Contemporary. The collection focuses on the shoreline, the connection between the land and the sea. The locations for these ocean paintings are dotted across the West and Northern coasts of Cornwall. In each place I was looking for a harmony between the land and sea.
