Some recent sketchbook ideas: Focusing on one bend in the River Thames near Marlow, and looking at the setting sun. This is one of my favourite locations and the sunsets here are spectacular.
These sketchbook ideas are made regularly en plein air or on reflection in my art studio. I often explore these painting ideas in acrylic. They are preparatory sketches for my 'Thames Path Paintings' and are made very quickly to get an idea down and visualised.
